Bus Loading
-
You may not park directly in front of the school between the reserved parking signs.
-
This is a bus loading zone and must be kept open.
-
This applies to before and after school, especially.
-
Please keep that area open.

After
School Dismissal
We ask that
you please PARK your
vehicle, in a parking
spot, along the curb closest
to the school building when
picking your child up from
school.
Please do
not stop in the street
and ask your child to walk
out to you.
Know that
we are looking out for the
safety of ALL students, (and
for the bumpers of your
vehicles).
Thank you
for being so prompt in
picking up your students!
All
families have done a great
job with this this year

Office
Hours
Mrs. Drevnick is at
lunch from 11:30-12:30. Please plan
to purchase Dillon certificates and
Walmart cards at any other time.
|
Reserved
Parking in Front of School
- Just a reminder that those
are reserved BEFORE school,
as well as AFTER school for
the families named on the
sign.
- Please respect those spots
and the fact that these
families paid a great deal of
money last year to get those
spots.
- They will come again for
purchase in 2007 - maybe
Spaghetti Dinner. Until
then - they are taken.

We are accumulating
many articles of clothing without
names. Please put your students name
in all sweaters and sweatshirts in

Dress
Code Violations
Consequences
for Dress Code Violations have
changed!
Due to a huge increase in Dress
Code violations last school year, we
have made some changes to our Dress
Code consequences. Attached to this
note is a copy of the Dress Code
(which can also be found in your
student's agenda
Parent/Student handbook section) and
the consequences for having a Dress
Code violation. Each class has had
the changes explained to them in
detail. Parents, we ask that you
please support us in this policy.
Note, changes apply to students in grades
2 through 6 only.

Tardies
If your student is
coming home with tardy slips, please
come in and check our clock. It is
possible that your home or car clock
differs from ours. We are beginning
to have many, many tardies. Students
are to be at school no later than 8.
Promptness is a life long skill that
all of us need to help our young
students develop. If a student comes
after 8:05 they must stop in the
office and get a tardy slip.

Campbell
Labels
General Mills Box Tops
Turn in General Mills Box Tops next week.
Remember to save
Campbell's Labels for Education.
Thank you to our parents who take on
this program and the General Mills
Box Tops. It takes a lot of time to
trim and tally up all those labels.
Keep saving them

student's agenda.) St. Dominic
School will follow USD 457's policy
regarding bad weather. IF
THE WEATHER LOOKS THE SLIGHTEST BIT
INCLEMENT PLEASE TURN
ON YOUR RADIO OR TV (Cable channel 21
is the USD 457 station) PLEASE DO
NOT CALL THE SCHOOL. Use the
radio and television for your
information concerning late starting
or early dismissal times. Our phone
lines are not adequate to handle
multiple calls. (If our line is busy,
we cannot get the notice from USD

and leave unless you are absolutely
sure the doors are unlocked. The
lights may be on, but there may be no

For some time now,
Wal-Mart has limited us on the amount
of gift cards we can have per month
to about a third of what we
previously sold. This is beginning to
show on our bottom line.
On the other hand, Dillons has never
limited us on the amount. When you
shop at Dillons, please purchase
certificates from St. Dominic School.
Don't forget
to get your Dillons & Walmart
cards. Continue buying
them at the school office, parish
office, or after Mass.
