Parent School Organization (PSO)

Our Parent School Organization, or PSO, provides continuous encouragement and financial support to our school.  Any and all parents are invited and encouraged to attend scheduled meetings.  Meetings are held four times throughout the school year.  Some of the activities that PSO members are in charge of or participate in are:

  • Cookie Dough Sale (August-September)
  • School Sweatshirt Sale (September)
  • Book Fair (Catholic Schools Week, January)
  • Catholic Schools Week (January)
  • Teacher Appreciation Week (May)
  • Sixth Grade Graduation Breakfast (May)
  • Holiday Parties (throughout the year)
  • Field Trip Drivers (as needed)
  • Birthday Treats for Staff (throughout the year)

PSO contributes an average of $7500 yearly to Saint Dominic School.  It is split evenly between individual classrooms and all special classes.  Attending PSO Meetings is a great way to meet new families as well as be 'in the know' as to the happenings in the school.  Watch the Tuesday Telegram and website calendar for upcoming meetings beginning in September of each year.  Interested in sharing your talents?  Contact the school office 276-8981 with further questions.
